Texas (where I am from) went through a bad winter storm last week. So bad, that it made a person like me, who adores winter, dream of warmer temperatures and floral prints.
My budget for the spring closet refresh was tight. I just took my baby girl and myself on a skiing trip and I am trying to control my expenses on things that aren't absolutely necessary. So when I realized the lack on floral prints and spring pieces in my closet, I immediately ran to one of my favorite and most affordable places.
#WalmartFashion has really been stepping up their game. I used to never even browse their clothing section. By past experiences whenever someone would mention #WalmartClothing my thought was low quality, old designs, awful prints, just not my cup of tea.
Since last year, my sister got the softest sweaters from them, and it made me a believer again. I gave them another try, and boy, am I glad I did!
The skirt was love at first sight. I loved the color, the print, the design, the price! At only $9.98 it was a no brainer and a piece I had to add.
Even when we are enjoying 70's temperature, inside of restaurants and places still feels a little chilly. When I saw this sweet cardigan the outfit came to my head! If you follow me on Instagram you can get the source of where the idea came from!
I adore my boots, so much that I pre-ordered them. Had to wait two months to get them but I think it was worth the wait! As you can see, they go with everything! I have also worn them with skinny jeans and leggings. I always get so many compliments about them. I did find a cheaper pair at #Walmart, they look pretty similar, but since I do not own them, I cannot fully speak about them. Nevertheless as I said, Walmart has really stepped up their game, so I am sure they stand up to the hype.
All and all, I personally believe this outfit was a home-run! Easy to wear to #Brunch with the girls, a #DateNight, or just about anything in between.
