Second week of January means Valentines is right around the corner 😂 I think is part of how it feels that time goes by so fast! Anyway, I took some pics of my nugget last year during Valentines, so this year I wanted to do the same just so that I can keep track of her growing. Sometimes I look at these pics and feel like is the only way I can actually see her going from being a tiny baby to a little toddler, if that makes sense.
This year we chose Nomar Photography to take our pictures. As you can see above, Alice was not as cooperative this year as she was a year ago, but Nomar was extremely patient and calm when getting the pic I liked. I wanted this picture, this pose, so that I can compare it; and poor guy, took one thousand shots until we got one I was happy with.
I chose to bring my nephew along since him and Alice are so close in age (just two months apart), and let's just say that the shots we got will be a great reminder of the beginnings of their relationship.
Nomar did an amazing job at utilizing every spot of his space. There were different set ups that he kept switching on to keep the little ones occupied and entretained. The one above was the one that welcomed us and were we took advantage of a couple of cousins pics. After these, my sister in law took his sweaters and shoes off and Nomar gave us a gorgeous little kiss both that gave us all the rustic feels.
You can find his beautiful little overalls HERE For Alice to give us a little smile, since she seemed reluctant to do so, we told her to pretend the booth as a swing and it worked like a charm!
Alice's outfit can be found here. Another beautiful setup he had, was a bench. That even when the littles didn't find it too interesting it was a great option for me to sneak some pics too.
The backdrop was permanent but you could remove the "XOXO" and "LOVE"hangers from the back for a more simplistic look.
Overall and all, we loved the experience Nomar gave us. As a mom, I get frustrated when Alice doesn't cooperate, but he sure made me feel at ease, was patient and as you can see gave me images that will be wonderful memories for years to come.
